Automated Test Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree and at least 5 years of related experience in software test engineering.
• We require knowledge of software testing principles, methods, and techniques, including black box, white box, and gray box testing.
• We require at least 2 years of experience with automation testing frameworks such as Robot Framework, Appium, TestComplete, or comparable tools.
• We require familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, and their use in automation testing.
• We require the ability to write automation scripts using programming languages and testing frameworks.
• We require an understanding of Agile development methods, including Scrum and Kanban, and their influence on software testing.
• We require knowledge of the Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• We prefer understanding of DoD acquisition and T&E policies and regulations.
• We prefer understanding of DoN and USMC logistics lifecycle management processes, policies, and organization.
• We prefer relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or similar credentials.
• We prefer understanding of USMC logistics management Defense Business Systems, such as GCSS-MC, and cloud environments such as MCBOSS.
• We prefer experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• We prefer understanding of AI/ML use in testing.
• We require a current and active DoD Secret Clearance.
• We require sedentary work capability.

• We coordinate and lead technical and strategic discussions related to automated software testing.
• We evaluate existing software testing tools for use in the USMC environment.
• We develop automation requirements and an implementation roadmap for our client.
• We conduct proof-of-concept and prototype demonstrations on designated programs of record.
• We integrate automated test protocols into existing Agile and CI/CD pipelines.
