Quality Assurance SupervisorAgropur, a leading North American dairy cooperative, seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to champion food safety and product quality in our manufacturing operations. This role leads a QA team overseeing testing, documentation, and compliance for cheese, fluid milk, and other dairy products. You will manage HACCP and related programs, conduct audits, investigate nonconformances, and collaborate with production to drive continuous improvement. In our values-driven, member-owned culture, you'll support safe, sustainable, and innovative dairy production with clear opportunities to grow your career.ResponsibilitiesLead daily quality assurance activities in a dairy manufacturing plant to ensure products meet Agropur and regulatory standards.Supervise, schedule, and develop QA technicians, promoting a strong food safety and quality culture.Oversee sampling, testing, and verification of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.Maintain and improve HACCP, SQF/FSMA and related food safety and quality programs and documentation.Investigate nonconformances, customer complaints, and deviations; implement corrective and preventive actions.Conduct internal audits, plant inspections, and GMP checks to ensure ongoing compliance.Collaborate with production, maintenance, and sanitation to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Train plant staff on QA procedures, food safety, and regulatory requirements.Support external audits and customer visits, representing the QA function and Agropur standards.Required SkillsQuality assurance in food or dairy manufacturingHACCP program managementSQF/BRC or GFSI scheme implementationFood safety and regulatory compliance (FDA/USDA/FSMA)Microbiological and analytical testing methodsStatistical process control and data analysisInternal auditing and GMP inspectionsCAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)Supervisory and team leadership skillsDocument control and quality management systems
