Drywall FinisherSid Grinker Restoration is seeking a detail-oriented drywall finisher to join our team. As a drywall finisher, your duties will include sealing joints, repairing cracks, and smoothing imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment. You should also ensure that all supplies are used safely.To be successful as a drywall finisher, you should be able to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high quality of work. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation, repair, and finishing. The Drywaller will be responsible for ensuring that all drywall work is completed to the highest standards and meets the needs of our clients. Ultimately, an excellent drywall finisher will utilize sound techniques to produce high-quality drywall finishes on time.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Install, repair, and finish drywall in residential and commercial propertiesMeasure and cut drywall to fit specific areasApply tape and joint compound to seams and cornersSand and smooth out surfaces to ensure a seamless finishWork with other team members to ensure timely completion of projectsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in drywall installation, repair, and finishingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsKnowledge of building codes and regulationsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift heavy objects and work in confined spacesGood knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall and ceiling finishing.Ability to interpret construction blueprints.Knowledge of the applicable safety guidelines.Basic math skills.Good problem-solving abilities.Exceptional customer service skills.Physically fit and able to work long hours.Preferred Qualifications:At least 3-5 years of experience as a drywall finisher.Physical and Mental Demands:Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
