Job ID: ZR_501_JOBT Key Details Specialty: RDN — Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 24 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Assess nutritional needs of patients, including those with chronic medical conditions and special diet requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor therapeutic and medically prescribed diets. Provide individualized and group nutrition education and counseling as clinically indicated. Ensure menus meet nutritional adequacy, food safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with medical, nursing, mental health, and food service staff to support patient care. Document nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the health record. Monitor food service operations for compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential. Valid California licensure, if required. Ability to work effectively within a secure correctional healthcare environment. Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
