Supervising PharmacistThe Supervising Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate medication dispensing, and high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to help establish and support pharmacy operations in a patient-focused environment while leading workflow, staff support, and medication management processes.Responsibilities:Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsVerify prescriptions and ensure accurate, safe, and efficient medication dispensingSupervise pharmacy staff and support effective workflow managementProvide patient counseling and medication educationManage pharmacy inventory, including medication ordering and stock monitoringMaintain quality standards and promote a patient-centered pharmacy environmentSupport the development and improvement of pharmacy operations and proceduresQualifications:Active New York State Pharmacist License requiredStrong attention to detail and commitment to patient careKnowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and medication safety standardsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a low-volume, patient-focused pharmacy setting
