Overview RESTAURANT MANAGER | JOB DESCRIPTION Reports to: General Manager | Location: Restaurant FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Compensation Range: $24.00-$27.00 per hour ABOUT THE ROLE: Driven by our values and an innate understanding of our culture, the Restaurant Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist and provide our guests with an exceptional and memorable dining experience that exceeds their expectations. This is achieved through the Restaurant Manager’s partnership and influence in the daily operations, successful shift management, and the ongoing development of our teams. Equally important is the partnership with the General Manager (GM), Assistant General Manager (AGM), and Executive Kitchen Manager (EKM) in overseeing planning, organizing, training, and development of each manager and team member, as well as the shared achievement of objectives in finance, safety, quality and the cultural environment of the restaurant. This position will have partnership relationships with Kitchen Managers, Restaurant Managers, Catering Office, and Restaurant Support Center Teams. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Is Happy To Serve! Maintains and ensures on each shift a team and guest focus while performing responsibilities. Demonstrates respect and loyalty to the entire team every shift. Works as a partner and team player with Managers, Heart of the House and Front of the House Team Members to achieve common goals. Coaches and leads our teams through training systems, adherence to policies and company standards, and implementation of service standards. Maintains mastery over the Circle of Service and ensures Points of Service are followed by delegating to team members and communicating with fellow managers. Engages with all guests by actively interacting to exceed expectations and builds relationships in the restaurant, at catered events, and within the community. Adheres to Health Department and sanitation standards in partnership with GM, AGM, and EKM. Understands and coordinates catering services and systems for events. Ensures compliance with federal, state and county health, safety, and labor standards. Oversees maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting restaurant environment. Manages safety across shifts; enforces safety policies and accountability for breaches. Ensures food and products are prepared and served according to recipes, portioning, and serving standards. Supports achieving objectives in sales, food cost, labor cost, and operating expenses; partners with GM, AGM, and KM’s to address variances promptly. Attends scheduled team meetings; assists in preparing schedules and participates in Weekly Manager and KM Meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Implements brand strategy and initiatives; focuses on building long-term relationships with team members, guests, and vendors. Delivers high-level guest service to drive satisfaction and engagement, assisting guests and monitoring their experiences. LEADERSHIP & CULTURE Leads through humble service and being happy to serve. In partnership with GM and AGM, manages restaurant team consisting of Heart of the House, FOH Team Members, and Caterers. Coaches and champions for restaurant team in revenue strategies, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. Maintains cultural alignment with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values; partners with Operations to uphold Culture and Values. Coaches, trains, and mentors team members; uses training tools for business development and loyalty programs. Demonstrates integrity and commitment; maintains a cultural pulse and acts as a trusted partner with Operations. Operates effectively with minimal direction and demonstrates strong problem-solving and leadership abilities. ABOUT YOU 1+ year in a high-volume role. Fast Casual Restaurant and catering experience preferred but not required. Passionate, fun, positive and results-oriented. Focused and available to team members and guests for issue resolution. Open to coaching and development; values critical to the Company's success. Strong organizational leadership and exceptional communication skills. Entrepreneurial and driven by accomplishment.
