This role will focus on content creation, social media management, event support, data analysis, and administrative duties.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Capture content (photo, video, etc.) for use in creating in-house flyers, invitations, print ads, posters, e-mail marketing, website content, social media channels, newsletter, and other digital platformsAssists with traffic building promotions, and stages all major events, contests, promotionsAssists with sponsorship executionDevelop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting across all platformsCreate and post engaging visual assets and graphics across social media, website, and email newsletterAssist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns for the venue, including sports areas, events, programs, family entertainment center, food and beverageEnsure website content and event calendar are accurate and up-to-dateReport on engagement, analytics, and the impact of content that is being created and postedWork and collaborate with a team to generate content to tell the story of the venue and its programs, events, venue offerings, and morePerforms the job safely and in compliance with company policies, procedures, work and safety rules and the team member manualPerforms other duties assigned by managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:1-2 years experience in marketing and business development disciplines such as promotions, advertising, PR, merchandising, graphic design, fundraising and sponsorship sales, website design, email marketing, and campaign management.Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practicesAbility to operate a professional camera is a plusWilling to learn new software and processesMust have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skillsMust be a team playerMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite) is a plusMust be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidaysApplicants must be 17 years of age or olderPassion for sports and recreation
