Clerical Assistant 1 (Seasonal) Pymatuning State Park

Work involves collecting fees, assisting the public, and maintaining an orderly contact station environment. As a Clerical Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties: Revenue Collection: Collect fees for camping, boating, rentals, and other activities according to written and verbal guidelines Daily Reconciliation: Balance collected money with permits issued and prepare daily bank deposits Visitor Assistance: Provide general park information in person and by telephone Computer Use: Register campers, issue receipts, collect payments, and run system reports following established procedures Radio Communication: Operate park radio equipment in line with federal and bureau standards to relay information Custodial Upkeep: Sweep floors, clean fixtures, and maintain sanitary conditions in the contact station Interested in learning more? There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately April 2026 until October 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately April 2027. Work hours are 37.5 hours per week, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. Days and shifts will vary, including weekends and holidays. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
