Description: Level IV Trauma Center. Primary Stroke Center. Accredited Chest Pain Center. Active FNE program with RN on-call 24/7 for these cases. Total Beds: 74. General Information: 21 beds plus 6 bed annex. Patient Types: All ages. Patient Ratios: RN 1:4 (Days & Nights), Tech 1:8 (Days & Nights). Support on the Unit includes reduced patient assignments for charge nurses. Hospitalist in-house 24/7. Emergency Department MD in-house 24/7. Healthcare Unit Coordinator available 24/7. Phlebotomy support for peripheral blood draws. Nursing Station has telemetry monitoring without a telemetry technician. Charting System/Equipment includes EMR: EPIC, IV Pumps: Alaris, Med Dispensing: Pyxis, GE Monitors. Floating: Not applicable. Scheduling includes weekend rotation: 1 weekend per month. Call required: None. Holiday expectations: None. Scrub Color: Any solid color, professional. No graphics, logos, or designs.
