Contractor Sales RepresentativeUSA Waste and RecyclingUSA Waste and Recycling, IncPosition Summary:The Contractor Sales Representative is responsible for developing a sales territory by prospecting for new accounts, building a new customer base, and retaining customers. This position is responsible for growth throughout Vermont and Massachusetts. Employee Assistance Program.Training and development opportunities with a growing, family-owned company.Your Role:Prospect new customers and develop new accounts.Maintain existing accounts and relationships. Develop and implement sound selling strategies. Present and promote all USA/All American services to prospects and existing customers. Collaborate with the Manager on any situation that may seem out of the ordinary regarding price and/or service.Expedite the resolution of customers' problems and complaints with maximum satisfaction.Maintain reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.Your Skills: Ability to work independently and effectively with little supervision.Ability to multitask and problem-solve.Ability to understand current trends and competition in the marketplace.Speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.Ability to listen and get clarification.Must be organized with the ability to keep files and records for future business.Ability to price out work according to type and service level.Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.Effective communication (verbal and written) skills.Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with other functional groups.Strong problem-solving skills.The environment is fast-paced, and the person among these people must be proactive, hardworking, highly organized, and an independent thinker.Desired Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentAssociate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.5 years' experience in outside sales (experience in waste removal preferred)Demonstrated clerical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeMust have a current driver's license and own vehicle.Physical Demands:Listed below are key points regarding the job's environmental demands and work environment.
