If you are a motivated Accountant looking to take the next step in your career, this is the job for you! The Accountant Assists in managing accounting activities related to reporting requirements, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and adherence to deadlines as required.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in preparing, maintaining and ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS (as required)
• Assist with monthly financial closings
• Prepare Journal Entries for Review and Posting
• Prepare Income Statement and Balance Sheet GL account reconciliations monthly
• Project cost accounting and analysis of the information as necessary
• Timely processing of Accounts Payable invoicing, and A/P entry into the Business System
• Timely invoicing to customers and subsequent cost clearing
• Understand, prepare and analyze key financial metrics
• Produce ad hoc reports and queries for management

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Business Administration
• Accounting experience in an industrial environment is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with general accounting practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
• Strong financial analysis abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
