Our organization, recognized as the only comprehensive academic children's hospital in the state, is on the lookout for a Pediatric Rheumatologist to become part of an expanding division within the Department of Pediatrics. This is an exciting time of growth and investment in pediatric services.
The Opportunity:- Academic faculty position affiliated with the University of Oklahoma
- Approximately 3.5 days dedicated to clinic work each week
- A mix of outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consultations
- Allocated time for academic and administrative duties
- Opportunities to teach residents and fellows
- Possibility for involvement in research and program development
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary pediatric teams across various subspecialties
- Utilization of Epic EMR for patient management
- Leading academic pediatric system in the state
- Only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Oklahoma
- Over $300 million committed to pediatric growth and expansion through 2027
- Strong leadership support and physician involvement in program development
- Chance to enhance access to pediatric rheumatology care in an underserved area
- Collaborative environment focused on establishing sustainable pediatric specialty programs
New physicians in this program will have the chance to impact clinical direction, workflow, culture, and the future development of the division.
