About the Role:

Nyack Ridge is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team. As a Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Nursing by overseeing clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services to ensure quality care for all residents.

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional growth and maintain high standards of practice.

• Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and care plans in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Oversee staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and manage staff assignments effectively.

• Monitor resident care delivery and participate in developing care plans and in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications:

• RN license in the State of New York

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience , with at least 2 years in long-term care or geriatric nursing.

• Previous supervisory or management experience

• In-depth knowledge of NYS Department of Health regulations, infection control practices, and nursing home compliance requirements.

• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Salary: up to $115K/yr.
