Entry Phlebotomist ILocation: Hollywood, FL, 33024 Duration: 4 Months – Possible Extension / Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Mon - Fri 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM, every Saturday 6:00 AM - 12:00 PMJob Description: Seeking an Entry Level Phlebotomist / Patient Service Representative I (PSR I) to provide exceptional patient care and customer service in a laboratory setting. This role is primarily focused on patient check-in, lobby support, and customer service, with phlebotomy coverage provided during breaks and staffing shortages.Responsibilities:Greet patients and assist with check-in using kiosks/tablets.Answer patient questions and explain procedures with care and compassion.Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming lobby environment.Support phlebotomy staff during breaks and staffing shortages.Perform phlebotomy and clinical/forensic specimen collection when assigned.Complete documentation and data entry accurately while maintaining patient confidentiality.Follow established safety, quality, and laboratory procedures.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent – Required.Phlebotomy experience – Required, including internship/externship experience.1–2 years of customer-facing experience – Required (healthcare, retail, home health, hospitality, etc.).Strong customer service and communication skills.Keyboarding/data entry experience required.Ability to work in both lobby and draw-room environments.Compassionate, professional, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
