Support the surgeon's focus and procedural flow by expertly providing visualization of the operative site through skillful manipulation, retraction, and fluid management. Maintain patient stability and minimize risk by expertly applying techniques to achieve temporary and permanent hemostasis during critical moments of the procedure. Ensure patient comfort and safety by precisely positioning and stabilizing the patient and facilitating seamless post-operative recovery through meticulous wound closure and dressing application. Licensure/Certification/Registration What minimum requirements you’ll need BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Surgical Assistant credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred. Education High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
