Senior Network Engineer

The ideal candidate will have deep networking knowledge and will assist the Enterprise Networking team in delivering designs, assessments, remediation, standardization efforts, documentation creation, and leading team discussions. This role serves as a subject matter expert, requiring minimal guidance and supervision, proactive initiative, positive attitude, excellent communication, and mentoring others. Key Responsibilities Deploy complex network configurations for on‑premise or cloud‑based networks. Develop and maintain scripts to automate network administrative tasks. Assist in the integration of new systems and tools. Develop playbooks for network systems (cloud computing). Participate in troubleshooting of ZTNA and SASE deployments. Monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and implement tuning. Analyze traffic and utilization on network connections. Assist in troubleshooting and deploying other network technologies (wireless, digital experience tooling, WAN optimization, Azure integration). Engage in the development of private SaaS, edge computing, and advanced cloud capabilities. Deploy, engineer, and troubleshoot SDWAN & SASE systems and architectures. Deploy, engineer, and troubleshoot IP telephony and collaboration systems (Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Call Center). Analyze alternative hardware, platforms, and technologies for the network infrastructure. Adhere to network policies, standards, and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience). Five (5) or more years of relevant experience. Experience with enterprise‑scale data centers, network topologies, and architectures. Experience with enterprise IP telephony and UC platforms (CUCM, Unity, SIP, Contact Center). Deep understanding of routing, switching, QoS, traffic engineering, filtering, and tuning. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent preferred. Experience deploying Azure and AWS direct connect, express routes, private links, and advanced cloud‑based architectures. Experience with Zero Trust Networking or SASE preferred. Experience with Microsoft Teams Phone or other cloud‑based IP telephony solutions preferred. Required Skills Adaptability – adjusting effectively to change.
