Full-Stack Web DeveloperRole: Full-Stack Web DeveloperLocation: Riverside, CA (100% remote)/Must live in CAType: 6 Month Contract+Interview Details: 2 Zoom InterviewsJob SummaryRequirements: We require a seasoned, skilled full-stack web developer who can join the team quickly and begin coding immediately.Required Qualifications:Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience with Java.Java Frameworks: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with at least one of the following modern Java frameworks:MicronautQuarkusSpring Boot (with a focus on microservices architectures)API Development: Demonstrable experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.Familiarity with SOAP web services is a plus.Solid understanding of various API authentication schemes (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, API Keys).Cloud Platforms: Practical experience managing and deploying services on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). This includes familiarity with core compute, database, and networking services within that platform.Containerization: Proficient with Docker for containerizing applications.Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.Database Knowledge: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Version Control: Expert-level proficiency with Git.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.Familiarity with messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Spock).Knowledge of observability tools and practices (e.g., logging, metrics, tracing).
