RN - Supervisor Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 22 weeks Shift: Full-Time Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 hours (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in long-term care with supervisor or clinical lead experience over multiple units License: Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in Client Certifications: BLS required through AHA or RQI system Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing CPI obtained within 90 days of hire Description:Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the RN Supervisor oversees the operation of the nursing units.Provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to various nursing units.Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts.Communicates with the Director of Nursing regarding identified and potential unit problems.Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to resolve problems.Makes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing.Possesses the ability to collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, and ancillary services.Demonstrates the ability to manage self professionally in stressful situations.Facilitates clinical management and works effectively under pressure.Meets deadlines and manages multiple priorities while enhancing teamwork.Is familiar with relevant requirements.Demonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Maintains computer literacy.Models and exemplifies professional behavior and effective communication.Ensures safety and promotes dignity, respect, and well-being.Exemplifies healthy relationships in the work environment.Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.Required tasks involve potential contact with blood, body fluids, and tissue. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
