We are looking for a capable and skilled carpenter to join our team. You’ll take direction from the project manager to help construct and maintain strong and long-lasting buildings and products. You are great at reading blueprints and have excellent hand dexterity, with a can-do attitude. $22 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:- Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirements
- Calculate, shape, cut, and smooth materials
- Fabricate rafters, partitions, stairways, and window and door frames
- Certify drywall, roofing, and flooring are level and compatible
- Examine and repair structures
- Assist in building high-quality outdoor living structures
- Measure, cut, and install components of decks and patio covers
- Prefabricate pergolas and pavilion components
- Dig and install concrete foundations
- Work safely and maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Cooperate and collaborate with team members
- Work with attention to detail and speed while following directions
- Read and follow blueprints and project plans
- Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity
- We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
- Candidate must have successfully completed a carpentry apprenticeship
- Proficient in carpentry tools, techniques, and materials
- Must have valid driver’s license
