Custom Quote Specialist

What We Need Brady Corporation is seeking a Custom Quote Specialist who will provide internal and external customers with the best possible service in generating timely and accurate quotations for highly customized labels used in aerospace and electronics industries. This role involves using variant configurations and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, sales, vendors, operational partners, and peers within the Customer Support & Operations Function. What You'll Be Doing Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers for pricing and prepare & deliver timely and accurate quotations using SAP, variant configuration, and cost models. Ensure Brady quotations are fully compliant with SOX, ISO, AS9100, and Internal Traffic & Arms Regulations. Calculate cost, discount, profit, and unit of measure conversion. Contribute to process improvements and initiatives to drive best‑in‑class customer experience and deliver cost savings. Perform core responsibilities with limited supervision and follow standard operating processes and procedures. Escalate barriers to leadership that impede quotation turnaround time. Accountable for meeting individual and team metrics around quantity, quality, and speed of quotations. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Master Data. Review customer drawings & specifications and cross‑reference with technical data sheets and manufacturing capability to ensure compliance. Identify revision level changes for custom parts and initiate part creation and engineering changes to keep master data consistent with customer requirements. What You Will Need To Be Successful High school diploma and some college education, preferably in a technical field. Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience or equivalent experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and make independent decisions.
