Step into a dynamic educational setting as a School Psychologist supporting a single campus that serves preschool through eighth grade. This full-time contract position (40 hours per week) near Tempe, AZ offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference in students’ lives starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the current school year.

Utilize your expertise in school psychology to collaborate with educators, families, and students, enhancing students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional success. This position will provide you with the environment to focus your skills within a diverse, supportive school community, ensuring every child receives the tailored interventions they need.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for state certification
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Proven experience with preschool and/or K-8 populations strongly preferred
• Knowledge of special education law, response to intervention, and data-driven practices
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to develop recommendations
• Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
• Interpret evaluation data and collaborate on development of IEPs and intervention strategies
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on educational and behavioral concerns
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing recommendations and support
• Deliver direct and indirect counseling or intervention services to students
• Support crisis response and provide staff training as needed
