OPEN POSITION:

Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)

SCHEDULE:

- Full-Time

- 40 Hours per Week

- Monday to Friday

- No Evenings

- No Weekends

- No Holidays

COMPENSATION:

- $118,000 to $135,000+ Base Salary, negotiable dependent on experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The new women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) will work in a collaborative environment with an integrated care team of physicians, advanced practice providers, RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and non-clinical support staff.

Providers are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in comfortable, modern settings. This includes scribes and staff to perform administrative tasks, ensuring providers are able to focus solely on patient care.

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- oversee patients’ healthcare

- conduct physical examinations

- interpret lab tests

- provide gynecological care

- general women’s health maintenance

- management of acute or episodic illnesses

- management of stable chronic illnesses

- well-woman exams

- breast cancer screenings

- Pap smears

Providers see a variable (and always manageable) number of patients per day, based upon needs and types of appointments scheduled.

The office boasts a robust list of services, ensuring they’re able to effectively treat all women’s health needs.

The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.

REQUIREMENTS:

- New York NP license

- WHNP certification

- DEA

- 1+ year advanced practice experience
