What You’ll Be Doing

• Own accounting and reconciliation activities associated with high volume customer transactions across a large multi location operation
• Ensure sales activity is accurately captured, reconciled, and ultimately reflected within the general ledger
• Investigate transaction discrepancies and determine the underlying accounting, operational, or systems issue
• Oversee recurring reconciliations involving multiple payment channels, deposits, refunds, and other revenue activity
• Lead key revenue accounting activities during month end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting analysis
• Partner with operational and technical teams to resolve data issues and improve the flow of financial information
• Strengthen accounting controls and develop more efficient, scalable processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and reduce manual reconciliation work
• Lead, coach, and develop a small accounting team while maintaining a hands on leadership style

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline required
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to high volume revenue or transaction accounting
• At least 2 years of leadership or people management experience
• Multi location retail, restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or another transaction heavy consumer environment strongly preferred
• Experience reconciling sales activity across POS systems, payment platforms, bank activity, or other large transaction data sets
• Strong understanding of the general ledger, reconciliations, month end close, and financial controls
• Ability to investigate complex discrepancies and trace issues across multiple systems or data sources
• NetSuite or another major ERP is a plus
• Experience with reconciliation, close management, or automation technology is highly valuable
• Collaborative leadership style with a willingness to roll up your sleeves when the team needs you

What You Need To Know

Location: Denver, CO

Compensation: $120,000 to $140,000 base + 15% bonus

Schedule: Hybrid, three days onsite per week

Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire

Team: Small direct report team

Requirement: Degree plus high volume, multi location revenue accounting experience
