Midwest Glaucoma Associates is a medical practice sub-specialty company located in Carmel, Indiana with a satellite office in Greenwood, Indiana. We specialize in providing comprehensive and advanced glaucoma care. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
This is a full-time on-site role for an Technician at Midwest Glaucoma Associates. Travel to our satellite office is required, with that being only the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month. *As a Technician, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic tests and assisting with patient examinations, obtaining patient medical histories, obtaining prior-authorizations for prescriptions and providing support to the provider.*'
Work Location: * Multiple locations--Main office in Carmel and satellite office in Greenwood Work Remotely * No Requirement:
- Ophthalmology knowledge
- Medical office experience
- Physiology and anatomy understanding
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Patient care skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience with intake and vital signs
- Previous optical experience
