Position Overview

We are seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)

to support both clinical and administrative functions in our outpatient neurology clinic.

• Multiple openings available
• Full-time and PRN positions
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred

You will work closely with the physician and office team to deliver high-quality patient

care while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Patient check-in, rooming, and clinic flow coordination
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient history
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Ensure completion and accuracy of new patient paperwork
• Schedule appointments, labs, imaging, and referrals
• Answer phones and communicate clearly with patients regarding care plans and results
• Assist the physician with in-office procedures
• Support patient education and address questions with empathy and professionalism
• Assist with safe transfer of physically challenged patients as needed
• Maintain medical supply inventory and exam room readiness
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment

Technology:

• Athena EHR (experience preferred; training provided)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing program
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – State of Tennessee
• Outpatient medical office experience preferred
• Strong computer and documentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Professional appearance, dependable, and team-oriented
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Monday through Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
• No major holidays
