Senior Tax Accountant

Job Description Senior Tax Accountant Duties Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities Prepare and review financial statements and accounting records to identify potential tax issues or opportunities Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients Prepare sales tax returns for Florida and other states Job Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Minimum of 5 years of tax experience experience in a public accounting firm Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Proficiency in using tax software Experience with account analysis, financial sales, mergers acquisitions Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Note: All positions at our company are paid, including internships.
