Transport/Van Driver

Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and flexible Transport/Van Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for our residents to and from medical appointments and other destinations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults and can adapt to a changing schedule. Key Responsibilities Transport residents to and from scheduled appointments and outings Assist with transportation of new admissions as needed Maintain accurate transportation logs, including mileage and trip records Track and submit transportation-related costs as required Coordinate weekly transportation schedules with Nursing staff Prepare necessary documentation/packets for resident appointments Ensure facility vehicles are clean, safe, and compliant with regulations Assist other departments as needed Support resident care tasks when appropriate Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid PA driver’s license with an excellent driving record CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification is a plus but not required CPR and Basic First Aid certification required Previous experience working with older adults or in healthcare preferred Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to plan and coordinate transportation schedules Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance Dependable, patient, and compassionate demeanor Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and stretching Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr
