Information Governance Coordinator

Position: Information Governance Coordinator

Compensation: $24 - $34 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Information Governance Coordinator to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, supporting data accuracy, and keeping records moving efficiently across the business. In this hands-on role, you’ll help manage physical and electronic records, support information governance efforts, and play a key part in migration and divestiture activities. If you like working in a detail-driven environment with clear processes and room to make an impact, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage daily records and information management activities
• Coordinate offsite storage recalls, retrievals, returns, and transfers
• Prepare recall lists and retrieval requests for business users
• Process recalled records, re-box materials, and update labeling
• Maintain inventories, tracking logs, indexes, and chain-of-custody records
• Support records disposition, shredding, and destruction processing
• Assist with SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and file-share migration activities
• Review records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Support retention, classification, and information governance standards
• Escalate operational, compliance, or technical issues as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in records management, information governance, or document management
• Experience with SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and file-share environments
• Experience managing physical records, inventories, and storage vendors
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage priorities
• Ability to maintain logs, indexes, and tracking documentation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting data migration or divestiture projects
• Background in compliance or retention schedule administration
• Familiarity with metadata management and records classification
• Experience auditing repositories for data quality issues
• Knowledge of chain-of-custody and inventory reconciliation processes
