The Commercial and Residential Painter will work both independently and within a small team to deliver high-quality painting services across various local residential and commercial projects. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint using diverse techniques, and maintaining painting equipment while ensuring excellent client communication throughout each job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning and sanding
• Minor drywall repair-
• Apply paint using brush, roller, and spray techniques
• Match colors accurately to client specifications
• Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and needs
• Clean up job sites post-completion
• Set up scaffolding and other necessary equipment safely
• Travel frequently to various local job sites

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in commercial and residential painting
• Proficient in brush, roller, and spray painting techniques
• Skilled in surface preparation for painting projects
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform demanding painting tasks
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
