The ultrasound tech must be a graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, be board eligible or a graduatefrom a 2-year allied health program, have ARRT certification andbe board elligiblefor ARDMS certification. Under the supervision of the attending Physician, the Ultrasonographer must perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for the subsequent evaluation and treatment of patients. The candidate must possess excellent ultrasound techniques to performOBGYN exams.The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: position and transfer of patients, selecting proper technical factors on an individual basis, maintaining records of examination data and pertinent information on patients.
