You will be part of the US Tech Consulting Finance and Accounting Technology team, an innovative and collaborative group of business and technology consultants who support client’s Finance Automation, Controls & Governance agenda by implementing technology systems such as BlackLine, Oracle ARCS, Trintech, OneStream RCM, Tagetik, etc. At EY, you will help influential companies explore emergent applications and transform how Finance and Accounting teams manage their financial close and reconciliations processes. The focus is to help clients enhance the operating effectiveness of Finance, Accounting, and Operations functions by shifting emphasis from manual processing and reporting to value‑add activities with decision support and analytics. Join our dynamic team as a Technical Business Analyst Manager, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will analyze business models and processes, capture requirements, and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring system architecture aligns with business objectives. Your Key Responsibilities As a Manager in Technology Business Analysis, you will deliver high‑quality processes, solutions, or projects. Responsibilities include continuous process improvement, innovation, and leveraging best practices. You will oversee professional employees or supervise teams to achieve complex technical initiatives, maintain billable client charging, lead delivery streams, manage projects, and engage with external clients daily. Travel may be required. Understand and evaluate current state of finance management and internal controls, including financial close, end‑to‑end intercompany and controls monitoring. Redesign operational processes, identify challenges across EY’s seven operating model dimensions, and collaborate with other practice areas to provide unified solutions. Implement key components of unified intercompany process solutions, including technology and process redesign. Design, configure, test, and deploy finance technology solutions (e.g., BlackLine, Oracle ARCS, Trintech, OneStream RCM, Tagetik). Align and re‑define business processes and identify additional improvement opportunities to enhance Finance and Accounting functions. Develop client relationships and manage expectations. Lead the translation of business requirements into technical specifications. Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and solutions. Skills and Attributes for Success Previous exposure supporting business process and technology aspects of Finance Transformation programs (e.g., general ledgers, sub‑ledgers, financial close, reconciliation management, intercompany processing). Excellent communication skills and an inclination to bond with clients to deliver outstanding service. Strong decision‑making skills in developing solutions for complex problems. Ability to modify policies and establish procedures within scope of work. Sound judgment in selecting methods and criteria for obtaining results. Functional understanding of system development lifecycle and technology business architecture frameworks. To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelor's degree. 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 5 years of work experience supporting Finance Management business processes such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, Financial Statement Close, Accounting Policies and Procedures, Financial Accounting and Reporting Operations/Technology, Performance Management, Journals processing, Intercompany Processing, Consolidations, and Variance/Fluctuation Analysis. 3+ years of system implementation experience (requirements gathering through deployment) in tools such as BlackLine, Trintech, Oracle, OneStream, Frontier, Tagetik, or TLM. Experience analyzing process challenges and implementing operational process improvement. Ability to convert technical accounting or organizational requirements and current state procedures into improvement opportunities. Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings, drive work product development, and coach junior team members. Experience supporting client proposals, Proof of Concept (PoC) developments, and RFPs. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50‑70%. Negotiation capabilities, critical thinking aptitude, and emotional agility. Ideally, you’ll also have Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, or related field. Experience in corporate consolidations, intercompany reconciliation, remediation of complex reconciliation issues, and oversight of processing/clearing intercompany transactions. Passion for technology and application to business solutions, enhancing automation and governance. Experience leading cross‑functional teams. Proactive problem‑solving and decision‑making approach. What We Offer You A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with performance‑based rewards. Base salary ranges for U.S. locations: $142,600‑$261,500 (standard) and $171,200‑$297,200 for New York City Metro, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento). Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off. Hybrid work model: most external, client‑serving roles collaborate in person 40‑60% of the time during engagements or projects.
