CNC Machine Operator I & II - "Sign On Bonus" Job ID: BH-3413-3 SF Job Req ID: CNC Machine Operators Level I & II (1st Shift) Location: Alsip, IL Shift Schedules: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30am Pay Range: $23.89-$27.51 per hour plus $1.35/hr shift differential for 2nd shift, and $1500 Sign On Bonus after 90 days Job Overview The CNC Machine Operator is an experienced operator disciplined, creative, excellent problem solver, thriving in a lean manufacturing environment. Reliable individual able to read blueprints, hold tight tolerances with strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities Follow Standard Work for machine set up, running parts, and preventative maintenance (PM). Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations and/or operate other equipment, including the selection and presetting of tools required for the next scheduled job. Update and maintain all visual controls, create and/or support countermeasures, and operate in and maintain a clean and safe environment. Participate and engage in SMED, Kaizen events, and '5 Whys' problem‑solving exercises. Resolve and/or report equipment abnormalities. Follow company safety procedures and standards to ensure individual and collective safety, avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co‑workers, contractors, customers, and property. Be a stand for safety, having the courage to call forth and report unsafe practices. Requirements At least 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience.
