Site Engineering Director (AEROSPACE/DEFENSE)

We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Senior Engineering Leader. Reporting to the General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over an 80+ employee department while working closely with Senior leadership. This is an 1,200+ employee campus, $1.2B campus.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Site Engineering Leader will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 80+ employees while assuming budgetary ownership over a 1,200+ employee campus.
• Drive departmental continuous improvement initiatives inclusive of yield improvement, and process optimization.
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues. xhyhwjd
• Work closely with plant staff to development \"HI-POT \" talent
• Work cross functionally, partnering with different internal departments including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of launch programs.
• Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objectives
• Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmap

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering/Technical degree is required for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years Engineering leadership experience for consideration
• Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
