This opportunity is based on a Forklift Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesOperate a sit-down electric forklift moving pallets from the production line area to the shipping staging area.Load pallets into outbound containers on the dock in a fast-paced wet wipe manufacturing facility.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.High school diploma or GED – hard copy proof of education if required to complete interview/onboarding process.Experience RequirementsExperience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.Longevity in work history required.Preferred Qualifications1 year of previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 25 pounds when required.Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Warehouse Environment with opportunities for advancement and continued equipment training.Marvin's Take?
