About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 8H Days or 10H Days (flexible depending on unit needs) Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Must-Have: Candidates must have IV start experience. Description: Profiles go directly to the unit for consideration. A copy of the driver's license is needed to validate the legal name. The name on the submission must match the name on a government-issued ID, without middle initials or names. Candidates may not have been employed by any facility associated with the health system within the past year. Previous PRN employment through outside firms will be considered. First to float between campuses as needed. Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. Department specific imaging and studies performed include cardiac, HIDA, bone scans, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung scans, brain death, and DAT scans. The average number of scans and studies performed per day is approximately 12, with 2 being cardiac scans. The EMR system used is Meditech, and the PACS utilized is Fuji Synapse. Department specific equipment includes Siemens Symbia T6. Radiologists are in-house until 5 PM, with remote reads available until midnight. Shifts will rotate with weekend and holiday availability required. Call or standby requirements are included as part of the duties. Black scrubs will be the dress code, and scrubs are provided. The hospital reserves the right to cancel shifts as needed during the assignment.
