MRI Technologist – Travel Contract | Wilmington, NC | Day & Night Shifts Available Earn up to approximately $3,300/week in total compensation. Taxable hourly pay up to $62/hour, plus applicable housing and meal stipends for eligible travelers. Employee Referral Bonus. Position Details: Travel MRI Technologist. Day and Night shifts available. Travel experience required. Float Requirement: Float between NHRMC Ortho and the main hospital required. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Responsibilities: Perform high-quality MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures. Ensure patient safety by following MRI screening and safety guidelines. Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies. Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care. Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational issues. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT certification required. MRI certification (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT) preferred or required per facility policy. Current BLS certification. Previous MRI experience in a hospital setting preferred.
