Medical Assistant

Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA) Well-respected Community Health Center seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to provide direct patient care and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting providers during preparation and provision of patient visits Interviewing patients and obtaining reasons for visits Room preparation, specimen collection, and processing Medication administration Documentation in electronic health records Patient discharge procedures The Medical Assistant facilitates communication between internal and external customers. Compensation: $18.71 Per Hour Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Medical Assistant Diploma or completion of a United States Armed Forces medical services training program required Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant Equivalent combination of education and work experience that meets necessary skills will be considered Certifications and Licenses: CPR certification required Valid fingerprint clearance card required Certified Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire Additional Requirements: Reliable transportation to meet operational reassignments during the workday Valid driver's license and proof of insurance may be required if driving during work hours or for mileage reimbursement #J-18808-Ljbffr Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.
