Service Sales Representative

Are you a relationship builder who enjoys solving problems, working with customers, and seeing your efforts turn into results? W&M Fire & Security is growing, and we're looking for a Service Sales Representative to join our Hawthorne, NY team. This is a customer-focused sales role with a strong opportunity to make an impact. You'll work with existing customers to identify service needs, develop repair opportunities, grow service agreements, and connect customers with solutions that help protect their people and property. You'll work closely with our service and operations teams while building relationships directly with customers. What You'll Do Grow Service Revenue Develop and deliver quotes and proposals for repair work Follow up on open quotes and move opportunities toward close Turn inspection findings and identified deficiencies into approved repairs Identify opportunities to renew and expand service agreements Introduce customers to additional services that meet their needs Track opportunities, wins, losses, and results Build Customer Relationships Serve as a key contact for service-related sales opportunities Talk with customers by phone, email, and in person Visit customer locations to understand needs and assess projects Recommend practical solutions based on customer needs Build relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships Keep Opportunities Moving Maintain accurate quote and opportunity records Respond to incoming leads and customer requests Keep quotes moving through consistent follow-up Coordinate project details with customers and internal teams Work with Accounts Receivable when customer follow-up is needed What Makes You Successful You don't need to know everything about fire protection on day one. We're looking for someone who can build trust, learn quickly, stay organized, and follow through. You'll be a strong fit if you: Enjoy working with customers and building relationships Are comfortable having sales conversations and asking for the business Know how to follow up and keep opportunities moving Are organized and able to manage multiple opportunities Pay attention to details and keep accurate records Take ownership of your work Are motivated by achieving measurable results Can learn technical products and services quickly Bring a professional, customer-first approach Experience That Can Translate We welcome candidates with 1 to 3+ years of sales, customer service, service industry, trade, or technical experience. Fire protection experience is helpful, but it is not required.
