Customs Supervisor

Your Tasks You are responsible for overseeing daily activities of our team of Entry Writers including document review, classification and entry filing. You assist the team with any customs issues, resolve customs holds or delays and interface with customs officials. You have deep knowledge of all regulation and procedures of U.S. Customs, FDA, USDA and other Government Agencies (PGA) and you will keep it up to date. You are responsible to ensure entries are submitted correctly and paid on time. You are confident in handling Post Summary Corrections, Protests and other post release issues. You train and coach staff, set performance targets and manage the workflow within the department. Your Qualifications You are enthusiastic about customs regulations and enjoy working in a dynamic, global trade environment. Quality service and satisfied customers, whether internal or external, are important to you. Attention to detail, strategic time management and organizational efficiency are your strengths. You have at least three years of experience as an Customs Entry Writer and two years of experience supervising a team. Additional Customs certifications like CCS required. Customs Broker License is welcome but not required. Expericence in using netCHB is a plus. Knowledge of German or Spanish is helpful, but not a must.
