Barre Gardens for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RN) or LPN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. Position Summary

The RN/LPN Unit Manager is responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting quality outcomes, and maintaining a supportive and professional work environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to resident advocacy.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality resident care
• Monitor clinical standards and implement quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies
• Provide direct nursing care as needed to support residents' medical, physical, and emotional needs
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote accountability and professional growth
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Uphold the facility's commitment to dignity, compassion, and excellence in care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license in the state of Vermont
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills
