Job Title: Mechanical Drafter Job Description

Support product engineering teams with various drafting requests, including propagating design changes and configurations across similar products. Initial design changes will be provided, and you will apply those changes to other existing designs. Support various drafting and documentation digitization requests to capture information that currently resides in legacy systems or paper formats. Ensure legacy documentation is accurately transferred to existing data locations, PDMs, archives, etc., before discarding the legacy documents.

• Apply design changes to existing product designs as provided by engineering teams.
• Support the digitization of documentation, converting information from legacy systems or paper formats.
• Ensure accurate transfer of legacy documentation to existing data locations before discarding old documents.

• 1+ years of SolidWorks drafting experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, mechanical drafting, and 3D modeling
• Experience in SolidWorks drafting, modeling, and drawings
• Knowledge of sheet metal and mechanical design

• SolidWorks Certification

This role is situated in a typical manufacturing environment in St. Joseph, MO, which is known for its strong engineering culture. Many engineers here have backgrounds in farming due to the geographical location. The dress code is casual, consisting of jeans and a polo shirt. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. This position offers a great opportunity to continue enhancing your SolidWorks drafting experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Joseph, MO.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
