JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Improvement Analyst III (QIA III) will serve as an advanced‑level analyst supporting the development and administration of a health system‑wide quality and operational analytics program. Working under minimal supervision, the analyst will produce expert‑level analysis, dashboards, reports and other resources in support of Health System Quality & Operational Excellence Department’s goals and objectives.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required Education : Associate’s Degree in healthcare, computer science, nursing, or mathematics Experience : 4 years of relevant experience. Equivalent years of work experience may substitute for educational requirements. Preferred Education : Master’s Degree

JOB DUTIES

Design, develop, and automate clinical quality and performance metrics. Maintain knowledge base of data requirements and measure definitions. Serve as a content expert for clinical quality measures by keeping current with national healthcare quality program guidelines. Implement analytic approaches and technical methodology under supervision; execute work plan tasks as assigned. Use judgement to distinguish relevant from irrelevant information. Use factual data to produce and deliver credible and understandable reports. Participate on multidisciplinary teams and provide comprehensive analytical support for clinical performance improvement initiatives. Extract, validate and summarize data from different large databases using data‑management and querying skills. Analyze and organize data using appropriate analytical and statistical methods to efficiently track clinical processes and outcomes. Assist in the interpretation of data to identify opportunities for improved healthcare delivery. Participate in special projects as needed. May provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
