This role is covering an employee on FMLA leave and is expected to last a few months.This is an onsite, patient-facing position responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant processing of medical record requests in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide phone support to patients, providers, and authorized requestorsProcess Release of Information (ROI) requests accurately and within required turnaround timesFax, scan, and manage incoming and outgoing medical record requestsBurn medical images to CDs and facilitate electronic image sharingPerform data entry and basic administrative support functionsMaintain compliance with HIPAA and facility privacy policiesLift up to 20 lbs as neededTraining & Onboarding• VROI training supported• On-the-job, onsite training provided within the first 30 daysPreferred Skill Set:• Strong communication skills• Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations• Computer proficiency and data entry accuracy• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentQualifications• High School Diploma or GED required• Must be 18 years of age or older• Ability to lift up to 20 lbsPay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role.The estimated base pay range per hour for this role is: $15 — $18.32 USD
