• No. of Beds in Department: 14 ER beds
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• EMR System: Medhost
• Specialty Backup Available: OB/GYN, Imaging, Ultrasound, Cardiology, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Urology, Rehabilitation

Job Requirements:

• Board: BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Licenses: Active Texas License, Active DEA
• DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
• Certifications: ATLS, ACLS
• Experience: 2 years of emergency medicine experience required

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
• Manage and stabilize critically ill or injured patients in the ED
• Perform emergency procedures as indicated (e.g., suturing, intubation, central line placement)
• Collaborate with consulting specialists (OB/GYN, Cardiology, Orthopedic, etc.) for patient management
• Document patient encounters and orders accurately in Medhost EMR
