Position Overview

Royal Lagoon Seafood Inc. is seeking a dependable, highly organized, and detail-oriented Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily inventory coordination and transportation logistics.

This position is responsible for ensuring daily inventory needs are met, cold storage transfers and pickups are coordinated efficiently, frozen inventory is accurately tracked, and truck routes and driver schedules are organized each day.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills who can manage multiple priorities and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced seafood distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Coordination

• Monitor and track frozen seafood inventory to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate daily inventory needs and transfers between cold storage facilities.
• Communicate with drivers and cold storage facilities to schedule and coordinate daily pickups.
• Track inventory movements and ensure products are properly accounted for.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and promptly communicate issues to management.
• Coordinate inventory availability to support daily orders and distribution needs.

Transportation & Logistics

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily truck routes for efficient deliveries and pickups.
• Create and maintain daily driver schedules and assignments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding routes, schedules, pickups, and daily operational needs.
• Communicate schedule changes, delays, and route adjustments to drivers and management.
• Work closely with drivers, warehouse personnel, and management to resolve dai

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, email, spreadsheets, and general data entry.
• Ability to learn and use inventory management, routing, and scheduling software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing daily needs.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily responsibilities.
• Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, inventory control, transportation, or warehouse operations preferred. xhqgsiq
• Experience in seafood distribution, food distribution, cold storage, or refrigerated transportation is a plus.
