Hospital Security Officer - Utica, NY

Security Officer

Securitas Security is looking to hire a few full time security guards for a hospital location in Utica, NY. Candidates should have their own reliable means of transportation as the public transport system does not run in accordance with our working shifts. Duties will include: customer service, access control, emergency response including patient restraints, report writing, interior and exterior foot patrols and all will be required to adhere to HIPPA requirements. Please be advised that due to Health Assessment requirements there may be a delay in starting work from your actual hire date. This could take upwards of two weeks.

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.
