The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its Cincinnati, OH team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, providing strategic tax guidance, and taking on leadership responsibilities within a collaborative public accounting environment. The Tax Manager will oversee tax engagements, manage client relationships, review complex tax returns, and serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of clients.

What You'll Do:

• Manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for a variety of clients
• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to individuals and businesses
• Research and resolve complex tax issues
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax strategies, compliance, and planning opportunities
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Tax Seniors and Staff
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and provide additional services
• Stay current on changes in federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and other service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA license strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns
• Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
• Strong client relationship and leadership skills
• Experience mentoring and developing tax professionals
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
