Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings in North Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.80 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and laboratory environment. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and designated restricted-access locations to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports for security-related incidents and observations. Support a professional, orderly environment for employees, patients, visitors, and vendors while following confidentiality and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
