Security Site Supervisor
Overview
GuardLogic is seeking a dependable and professional Security Site Supervisor to lead our on-site team. Reporting to the Area Director, you will take ownership of the site, serve as the client's first point of contact, and oversee daily operations while supervising Shift Supervisors and Security Officers. In this role, you will lead by example — combining hands-on security work with scheduling, reporting, and team development to ensure a safe and secure environment for our clients and visitors.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Client Relations
- Lead by example and take ownership of the site
- Serve as the client's first point of contact to address identified issues
- Maintain open, timely communication with the client
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring all assignments are completed per protocols
- Coach, mentor, and correct subordinates with performance deficiencies
Scheduling & Administration
- Post employee schedules at least 14 days in advance
- Ensure all shifts are covered, assisting with coverage as a last resort
- Monitor staffing levels and determine when hiring is needed to fill shifts and avoid overtime
- Respond to employee calls and texts in a timely manner
- Keep schedules and timesheets current, ensuring employees clock in and out properly
- Lock and verify all timesheets every Monday by 9:00 AM
- Review officers' activities and reports daily, ensuring they meet GuardLogic standards
Security Operations
- Patrol and monitor facility buildings, grounds, and parking areas on foot and by vehicle
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems
- Identify, address, and report security and maintenance issues
- Maintain, prepare, and submit all logs, reports, files, and documentation for the assigned area
- Provide directions and assistance to facility visitors and guests
- Carry out site-specific duties assigned by the client and other related duties as required
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of experience and training)
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate GuardLogic and/or client-provided vehicles safely and responsibly
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets)
- Familiarity with advanced scheduling and reporting software
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, push, and pull
- Capable of light work (exerting 5–20 lbs of force) with occasional medium work (up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to work in varying conditions, which may include hazardous situations, continuous noise, bright lights, contagious diseases, humidity, extreme hot or cold temperatures, dust, and odors
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including shift work, extended duty hours, weekends, and holidays
