This role offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment, helping them improve mobility, confidence, and independence through personalized therapy programs. $34-$39/hour Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment, helping them improve mobility, confidence, and independence through personalized therapy programs. What You'll Do:
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, balance activities, transfer training, and functional movement programs
- Support individualized care plans designed to help residents achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals
- Observe resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
- Collaborate with nursing staff and rehabilitation team members to provide coordinated care
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Established rehabilitation program serving both short-term rehab and long-term care residents
- Team-oriented environment with PT, OT, SLP, and nursing collaboration
- Consistent full-time schedule with supportive clinical leadership
